Video games ARE art. Next topic, please!

Like Kellee Santiago says to introduce her speech: "I'm here to tell you that video games are art. Great! Let's move on".
There is a big misconception about video games that may never be clarified. Not all games are the same. My mom used to think that there were two types of games: Mario and others where you kill people. (That later changed with Left 4 Dead and created the category “others where you kill zombies”). Violent video games exist; they can look beautiful like Battlefield 3 or creepy and gory like Killing Floor. But just because SOME games have blood, curse words, critical combos and big boobs, doesn’t mean ALL of them do.

How to LAN party and not get (too) fat

Thanksgiving is coming and most of us have a long weekend ahead to play all day and night. But we all know what happens there: FOOD. Delicious and fatty food. Good thing this happens once a year... No, it doesn't. Christmas is the same thing a couple of months later. What's a gamer to do? If you absolutely can't exercise (which you TOTALLY should), at least you can try to eat better the rest of the year.

BF3 for first timers (and girls!)

Last night I played Battlefield 3 like most people, but I won't give you a review like most people. BF3 is my first multiplayer FPS ever. The 3 hours I have on Team Fortress 2 don't count at all.

If you want BF3 reviews because you can't get enough of Battlefield, the franchise you've been playing since you're 11 and taught you valuable life lessons like teabagging and how awesome the BF Vietnam soundtrack is, better go somewhere else.

But if what you want to play BF3 and have no idea if you should, this review is for you! (That rhymes, but the rest of the post won't)

Blizzard is taking over

A couple of days ago was released the beta for StarCraft Universe, which will be playable through October 30th. SCU is a mod that allows you to control characters RPG style, and was called World of StarCraft. After a lot of demand and some legal issues, Blizzard is letting everyone test the game via Battle.net. You can learn more here, but this is not today's topic. (And no, we're not talking about the pandas either)

BF3 is coming

As you can see, BF3 is coming REALLY SOON. I'm very very excited and if the next video doesn't blow your mind, you are either dead inside or my mom.
